Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born October 1, 1995, was raised in Berkeley, California. She's an actress known for Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations that she's taken up. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her debut role. Red Wood Pigeon was the subsequent year's film, in which Asia was Nanni's daughters. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. It was at this point that Asia's career took off as she transitioned from young girl roles to mature and complex ones. The film was given a warm reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she appeared in her first film with her father, the renowned Italian film director Dario Argento Her mother is one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search for her parents' killer. Asia's intense and absorbed acting skills were put to good use in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. In 1993, Asia co-starred in the role of Arianna an disabled girl in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. It was an intricate and demanding role for which she won an award of David di Donatello. She was a part of Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli in which she was awarded the David di Donatello award as well as the Grolla of Oro. In 1994 Asia decided to try the art of directing, and produced two short films in the episode of the film De Generazione In 1996 she made a documentary of her father, and in 1998, a film about legendary director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which won an award at AbelAsia, which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began directing her first feature in 1999. The film was Scarlet Diva. The film was a collaboration with Asia. the film she also played the main character and wrote the script. The film was released globally in May 2000. It was awarded at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
