Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial artist who is who is a part of the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is an Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of former UFC Flyweight champion as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start combat sports in the form of a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut in her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority decision. Antonina was able to follow it up, and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze award in 2008 a gold medal in 2011, and was the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional career in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016, the International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. The WMC World Championships were also held in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a unanimity. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round by TKO and also won her subsequent 2 fights in the WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass an overall record of 3-1. Shevchenko took a hiatus to pursue the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko beat Anissa in an unanimous decision. She then went on to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious by unanimous decision, but she lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina bounced back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night reward during the bout. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches, winning against Ariane Lipski, while losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
